[ The Story ]

Close to the work,

by design.

GenWright was built to keep strategy, design and development connected. The people involved in figuring out what needs to be done are also involved as the work moves into design and development.

We keep the team small and bring in the right people based on what each project needs. This keeps communication direct, decisions clear and everyone close to the work from the first conversation to launch.

Experience you can see in the decisions.

We have worked across websites, brands, digital products and business systems, and each project has taught us something different. You learn what deserves more attention, what can be kept simple and what will actually matter once the work goes live.

That experience shapes how we approach work today and the decisions we make along the way.

A good website should do more than look good. If people still struggle to understand what the business does, find what they need or know what to do next, then the design has missed something. We think about digital products and systems the same way. They should be easy to understand and use, but they should also feel like they belong to your business, not something that could have been made for anyone. That is why the decisions we make around structure, content, design and functionality always have a reason behind them.

[ How we work ]

[ How we work ]

A few things we

don't compromise on.

Clarity

People shouldn't have to work hard to understand what a business does or how to use what we've built. We look for the clearest way to organise the message, information and experience without stripping away what makes the business distinct.

Craft

The details matter because they shape how the finished work looks, feels and works. Typography, spacing, interactions, responsiveness and performance all need the same level of attention as the bigger decisions.

Ownership

We stay close to the work and take responsibility for how the different parts come together. If something isn't working, it doesn't become your problem. It becomes ours, and we take ownership of every decision and action from strategy through to the final result.

Impact

Our work has to do something for the business, so we first understand what needs to improve. That could be how people understand what you offer, how easily they can take action, how they use the product or how your team gets things done.

  • Meshack’s been a huge help to Tarino. From building our website to creating ad graphics and other promotional assets, he’s become someone I can throw all sorts of creative work at and know it’ll get handled properly. He’s quick, reliable, easy to work with, and always finds a way to make things work. Definitely someone I’m happy to keep working with.

  • Meshack did a great job on my Framer website. He’s reliable, responsive, patient, and committed to finding solutions and getting things done properly. I was happy enough with his work to recommend him for a client project as well, which he handled just as well. I’d definitely recommend working with him.

01

What does GenWright actually do?

We design and build websites, landing pages, digital products and custom business systems. For website projects, we can also help with the positioning, messaging and structure before we start designing.

02

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

We work with growing businesses across SaaS, technology, B2B, real estate, professional services and other industries. Most come to us because they need a new website, have outgrown the one they already have or need something digital built to help the business work better.

03

Can you build from scratch or build on what we already have?

Yes, we can do both. We can start from scratch if that is what the project needs, or work with your existing brand, website and content. We’ll look at what you already have, keep what is working and improve or replace what isn’t, so you’re not starting over when you don’t need to.

04

What is included in a website project, and what do I get at the end?

What goes into a website project depends on what you need, but it can cover everything from strategy, messaging and sitemap planning to design, development, CMS setup, analytics, basic SEO, testing and launch. At the end, you get a fully designed and developed website that is ready to use, along with access to everything we have set up for you. We’ll agree on exactly what is included before we get started.

05

How long does a project take?

Most website projects take around four to six weeks. A landing page can take less time, while larger websites and custom systems may take longer. Once we understand what you need, we’ll let you know how long the project should take before we get started.

06

How does a retainer work, and can you support us after launch?

Yes. If you need ongoing support after launch, we can continue working with you on a retainer. This gives you ongoing access to us for things like new pages, campaign updates, improvements, maintenance and other design or development work as they come up, without having to start a new project each time.

07

Do you also build custom business systems?

Yes. We build custom systems around how your business works. This can include managing customers, employees, projects, inventory, finances, reporting and other day to day processes in one place, or automating parts of the work that are currently being handled manually.

08

Can you take over or improve an existing website or product?

Yes. We can work with existing websites, digital products and codebases, including projects built with no code or AI assisted tools. We’ll first look at how everything has been built, what is working and what needs fixing or improving, then determine the best way to continue without rebuilding everything from scratch.

09

How much does a project cost?

The cost depends on what you need us to build and what the project involves. Once we understand the project, we’ll send you a proposal that explains what we’ll be doing, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

10

What happens after I reach out?

You’ll tell us a little about what you need help with and we’ll take it from there. We’ll usually start with a short call to understand the project, ask a few questions and see if we’re a good fit for what you need. After the call, we’ll put together a proposal covering what we’ll be doing, how long it will take and how much it will cost.
